Artist

With over two decades owning and operating a successful commercial fine art company, I am now at a point in my life where I have recently started showing my personal art work again. By the time I graduated from the Florida School of the Arts, my focus was on producing paintings and sculpted works of art, along with studying graphic design and photography.

My work progressed further, becoming open to many creative paths, such as large scale murals, prop design and interior design. Being open to a multitude of art forms gave me a broad perspective on the arts, allowing freedom to mix these art forms to create new styles and unique works of art.

The most recent artwork is a loose document of life experiences, environmental issues and the effect they have had personally. The recurring motifs are the use of patterns to symbolize life, mainly through portraits of animals and people. Switching freely back from oils to acrylics to mixed media, the one constant is through the subject matter representation.

This body of work will lead me to continue exploring the collaboration of portraits while underlaying narrative patterns.
